So, where are we riding this october?
Day 1: Arrive in Sardinia
We’ll meet you at the airport near Olbia in northeast Sardinia and transfer you to your accommodation at the stunning Hotel Cala Paradiso. Situated beside the picturesque peninsula of Capo Coda Cavallo, this unique location offers breathtaking views of the Tavolara, Molara, and Molarotto islands. Depending on your arrival time, you can join us for a relaxed introductory ride through the nearby Tavolara Natural Park, giving you a taste of Sardinia’s incredible scenery. In the evening, we’ll review the itinerary for the next day over a delicious meal, setting the stage for an unforgettable adventure over the next week.
Day 2: Tepilora Forest & Wind Farm (200km; on and off-road)
Our first full day of riding begins with an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking Tepilora Forest and the Ala dei Sardi Wind Farm, covering approximately 200km of mixed terrain. This route was specifically chosen by Royal Enfield for the European launch of the Himalayan 450 to demonstrate how easily the bike transitions from twisty tarmac to tracks. At the end of the day, we’ll relax and unwind back at a specially-selected hotel, nestled in the idyllic surroundings of Capo Coda Cavallo.
Day 3: The Legendary SS125 (200km)
The SS125 is one of the most breathtaking routes in Sardinia, drawing thousands of bikers from around the world each year. Our journey begins with a stunning coastal ride, winding along the shoreline for a few hours before reaching the slopes of Gennargentu, the island’s highest mountain. From there, we’ll follow the SS125 all the way to Urzulei. Our afternoon takes us off-road as we explore the rugged tracks and hidden routes of Ogliastra. As the day winds down, we’ll make our way to our accommodation in the southeast, where we can relax and recharge for the next leg of our journey at Hotel Pedepera.
Day 4: East to West Crossing (200km)
On day 4, we’ll journey across Sardinia from east to west, traversing the island’s stunning landscapes on a route filled with winding, panoramic roads. As we ride, we’ll witness the dramatic geological transitions that make Sardinia so unique, passing through some of the island’s most breathtaking scenery. Our destination is the award-winning Tartesh Hotel, recognised as one of Sardinia’s finest accommodations. After an exhilarating day on the road, we’ll unwind in comfort, reflecting on the incredible journey around another memorable meal.
Day 5: Coastal Villages & Roads (200km)
Today’s ride takes us from south to north, crossing two distinct regions with diverse landscapes and ever-changing roads. A stop at a local street food spot offers the perfect opportunity to refuel with authentic flavors before we continue north. In the afternoon, we’ll arrive in Bosa, often considered one of the most picturesque villages in Italy. After a relaxed stroll through its charming streets, we’ll take on the Bosa-Alghero coastal road. We’ll finish the day with a free evening in the historic old town of Alghero, where you can unwind, explore, and soak in the lively atmosphere before settling in at Hotel Carlos for the night.
Day 6: Wild Sardinia (200 km; on and off-road)
Our final full day of riding takes us from west to east, crossing through through the Mielogu region, an area rich in history, before tackling a spectacular road that showcases the island’s rugged, untamed beauty. The adventure continues as we venture off-road again into the forest of Burgos, deep in the Goceano region, where wild horses roam freely. This ride offers an incredible blend of breathtaking scenery and raw, unspoiled Sardinian wilderness. As the day winds down, we’ll return to Hotel Cala Paradiso, reflecting on an epic week of adventure before the departarting for the airport the next morning.
Day 7: Depart Sardinia
As our adventure comes to an end, the motorcycles will remain available until departure, giving you one last chance to soak in Sardinia’s incredible landscapes if you fancy. We’ll provide full logistical support to ensure a smooth transfer to the airport. For those with time before their flight, we can organise a final day through the Tavolara Natural Park, exploring its stunning beaches and scenic coastal roads—a perfect way to end an unforgettable journey.

About the Sardinian Scramble
Quality routes and stays selected by local riders show you the best of the island
The Sardinian Scramble starts and finishes in the northeast corner of the island near the coastal town of Olbia. Our ride will cover approximately 1,200 kilometers over six days on mostly tarmac. There are some easy off-road sections along the way (day 1 & 6). Please note, we can share alternative routes for riders who wish to stick to the asphalt.
We kick off our scrams at about 9:00am each morning and plan to return to our evening accommodation around 6:00pm with plenty of stops for coffee, lunch and off-the-bike experiences. There will be some offroad opportunities, so we recommend bringing or hiring a suitable machine.
Bikerbnb Adventure tours take into account differing riding abilities – so if you have any concerns about the length of the trip, terrain or riding in a group – just drop a member of our team a message at info@bikerbnb.com and we’ll get you sorted.
Six nights in premium accommodation to help you relax off the bike each evening

During The Sardinian Scramble, we will start our ride in the village of Salina Bamba. From there, we wil travel in a long, anticlockwise loop around the best parts of the island.
We offer two types of accommodation packages: shared or single. At checkout, please specify if you prefer the shared or single supplement and if you are traveling with another rider or partner so we can plan accordingly.
On The Sardinian Scramble, all accommodation is 4 stars and we have worked with local partners and validated the venues to ensure a quality experience.

We strive to balance the best interests of our riders and the financial wellbeing of our small business. The following Cancellation Policies establishes clear timeframes to help ensure we are equipped to run a high-quality event and meet obligations to our partners, vendors and accommodation providers, while balancing any unexpected circumstances that may arise. The Sardinian Scramble features Bikerbnb Adventures’ unique motorcycle-friendly accommodation. During the ride we will stay in hand-picked accommodation that is secure and especially suited for motorcycle travelers. Depending on the tour, we will stay in a mix of accommodation that mostly features high-quality four star hotels.
We try to price our trips fairly to accommodate different budgets. The Sardinian Scramble takes a lot of consideration, planning, coordination and time! The knowledge and experience of the organisers is second to none and every detail is carefully collaborated. From unique locations, specialised kit, great food, support vehicle, insurance, content producers, chefs, and experienced staff, we offer an incredibly competitive product compared to other tour operators.
The route is designed to explore the best that Sardinia has to offer.
While there are some off-road sections featuring dirt, sand and gravel on this experience, it is mostly a tarmac ride and has been curated for intermediate-level motorcyclists. The roads can be twisty, tight and require concentration.
While some sections will be more challenging than others, the ultimate goal is to encourage you to ride at your own pace and enjoy the beautiful scenes along the way. You may feel you want to push out of the comfort zone but we encourage you to ride to a level you feel safe and comfortable with.
We aim to ride around 200 kilometers per day, depending on the type of roads we take. On the smaller twisty roads, we will allocate more time to enjoy the scenery! We anticipate that each leg of the journey should approximate 5-6 hours of riding, with planned and regular breaks for lunch and coffee. Evening meals are aimed to be served around 8:00pm.
Please do and shout from the roof tops! Each ride will be allocated a unique hashtag for sharing and following.
Unfortunately no, we can only offer accommodation, food and support to those who have paid in full for the tickets in advance.
If weather conditions are abysmal then we will hold tight for a prolonged pitstop, however, we are not ‘the sunshine only’ club. Weather conditions that pose safety issues to our riders will be taken into account but the bottom line is, come fully prepared and hope for the best! Remember, there is no bad weather, only bad gear!
Everyone participating will be at different levels of riding ability. If you wish to go ahead or take your time, the route will be shared with you on a group chat. We will also send you the route in advance to study. The support vehicle is only a phone call away so don’t panic.
Our support vehicle and mechanic will be there to help along the way. Equipped with tools and knowledge, we can try and assist with a roadside repair.
You are responsible for paying for your own fuel and any additional refreshments. You will also need to pay for alcohol that is not offered during meals. The rest is sorted by Bikerbnb Adventures.
Please email us at info@bikerbnb.com to share a special rate with you to accommodate pillion riders.
