So, where are we riding?

Day 1: Edinburgh - Belfast (200 miles / 320 kilometres)
After welcoming you to the historic capital city of Edinburgh, we'll depart for Cairnryran via the Scottish Borders and historic Dumfries and Galloway. We will then take a ferry across the Irish Sea to Belfast and Northern Ireland. Accommodation in the evening will feature the Ballygally Castle Hotel on the Antrim Coast just north of Belfast. We'll dine at the hotel and tuck into four star accommodation after riding approximately 200 miles.

Day 2: Belfast - Letterkenny (200 miles / 320 kilometres)
After a restful sleep, we will have breakfast and then ride north to start our route along the Wild Atlantic Way. Highlights of this section include the Giant's Causeway, famous Northwest 200 road racing circuit in Portstewart, Malin Head and historic city of Derry. Much of the day will be spent along coastal B roads with fantastic views of the sea, cliffs and beaches. Our day will conclude at a four star hotel in County Donegal.

Day 3: Letterkenny - Sligo (200 miles /320 kilometres)
On day three, after crossing into the Republic of Ireland, we will continue our journey along the Wild Atlantic Way and slow our speed as we traverse twisty sections along County Donegal. Here, we'll wend and weave along the wild atlantic coast stopping at key points of interest like the wreck of the Bunbeg, Slieve League Cliffs and then end our ride in Sligo at the Clayton Hotel.

Day 4: Sligo - Galway (250 miles / 400 kilometres)
On day 4, we will embark on a big day south along the Wild Atantic Way through County Sligo. Another rich region filled with history like the grave of W.B. Yeats, natural landmarks like Downpatrick Head, Achill Island, and take in the famous cliffs and beaches of County Galway. On the evening of Day 4, we'll stay at the four star 12 Hotel just outside of Galway and have the option to explore the nightlife of this historic region.

Day 5: Galway - Carrick-on-shannon (185 miles / 300 kilometres)
Leaving the the buzz of Galway behind, we will rejoin the legendary Wild Atlantic Way, where the road begins to trace Ireland’s rugged western edge. Heading south, the ride flows through quiet coastal villages and into the otherworldly landscape of the Burren, a vast limestone plateau shaped by time and Atlantic winds. Along the way, expect sweeping views across Galway Bay, dry-stone walls stretching to the horizon, and the occasional glimpse of the Aran Islands offshore. The route builds to one of Ireland’s most iconic moments at the Cliffs of Moher, where sheer cliffs plunge dramatically into the crashing Atlantic below. From here, the journey turns inland, trading wild coastline for rolling countryside as you wind your way north through the heart of Ireland toward Carrick-on-Shannon.

Day 6: Carrick-on-Shannon - Dumfries and galloway (220 miles / 350 kilometres)
Our route heads north through the quiet backroads of Ireland’s hidden midlands before opening out toward the coast and the ferry port at Larne. Rolling farmland, scattered villages and faster, flowing roads make for an engaging run to the sea, where the crossing to Scotland offers a chance to pause as the Irish coastline fades into the distance. The short passage across the Irish Sea is part of the adventure itself, typically taking around two hours. Arriving at Cairnryan, set along the sheltered waters of Loch Ryan, the ride picks up again through Dumfries and Galloway, a region often overlooked but packed with sweeping roads, historic ruins and coastal views. The day finishes at the welcoming Creebridge House Hotel, just outside Newton Stewart.

Day 7: Dumfries and Galloway - Edinburgh (125 miles / 200 kilometres)
Leaving Creebridge House Hotel, the route quickly immerses you in the sweeping landscapes of Dumfries and Galloway, where quiet roads carve through forests, open moorland and rolling hills. Heading northeast, the ride gathers pace toward Moffat, a classic motorcycling stop nestled at the edge of the Southern Uplands, known for its welcoming atmosphere and proximity to some of Scotland’s best riding roads. From here, the route climbs and twists through increasingly dramatic terrain, offering fast, flowing sections and tighter bends as you make your way toward Innerleithen, a town steeped in outdoor culture and surrounded by forested valleys and winding tarmac. The final leg carries you through the Scottish Borders and into the outskirts of Edinburgh, where the landscape softens and the city skyline begins to emerge. Rolling into Bikerbnb Adventures headquarters marks the end of a route that perfectly captures the transition from remote wilderness to vibrant city, closing out the journey with a final stretch of rewarding, rider-focused roads.
