Brownhill House is on the banks of Torridon River, overlooking Loch Torridon and the stunning mountains around us. We frequently have wild stags wandering through our garden and eagles circling overhead. Our house is over 100 years old, and with the log stoves burning, it's a welcome haven after a hard day in the saddle or just wandering the loch shoreline. We are beside the NC500 and only 20 minutes walk from the nearest pub and shop.
We have a large steel barn with secure door, concrete floor with ground anchor and basic maintenance facilities.
The double bedroom has central heating and double glazing with a view across Torridon River to the mountains.
There is a living room for guests with smart TV & DVD and you are also welcome to use the large conservatory which has stunning views over the loch and mountains. There are numerous maps and reference books for you to use, plus binoculars to watch the local wildlife....although they're sometimes only a few feet away!
A continental breakfast is provided, and the local inn is about 1.5km away for drinks and lunch/dinner. There is also a village shop/cafe and a cafe for sit-in or takeaway meals at the village hall, also about 1.5Km mile away.
