Located in a secluded, rural and peaceful part of South Devon yet with easy access to Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Totnes. The cabin has its own private patio in the orchard sounded by fields, trees, horses and cows in the distance and buzzards soaring overhead.
The cabin has heating. Washing machine and drying facilities if required.
The cabin is accessed from the parking area up some steps and a path.
There is plenty of space where bikes can be parked next to the cabin or on a parking area next to the farmhouse or in an enclosed barn, where repairs can be carried out if necessary.
The facilities inside the cabin consist of a double bed, table and chairs, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. There is a small sink and cupboards and drawers holding plates, bowls, mugs, glasses and cutlery.
A BBQ on the patio is provided for your own use should you want it (one bag of charcoal will be provided).
Tea, coffee and sugar is provided.
Bedding and towels are provided (but not beach towels).
The bathroom is a short distance away in a separate barn with dedicated shower, basin and toilet.
It is within easy access of the small market towns of Kingsbridge, Totnes and the stunning sailing centre of the south coast, Dartmouth.
Bantham Beach and Hope Cove with their fantastic landscape and windsurfing bay and miles of coastal walking paths is 8 miles away.
The centre of Dartmoor, with its endless cycling and walking tracks is 25 miles away.
The area is surrounded by numerous very good pubs such as The New Inn in Morleigh which is a couple of miles away and is the place to have steaks which are second to none and The Durant Arms in Ashprington is another place well worth a visit for its food and friendly locals.
The nearby coastal road from Kingsbridge winds it way along the most phenomenal views along the coast to Dartmouth and is littered with great pubs and eateries.
It will take you through the Slapton Ley Nature Reserve and Slapton beach with the WW2 tank, a memorial to one of the greatest and saddest loss of lives in the UK.
The cabin is ideally situated to access the phenomenal roads that south and mid Devon and Cornwall have to offer.
